Mati LGU to enhance water system
The City Government of Mati City has sealed a deal with South Balibago Resources, Inc. to construct a potable parallel water system in the city. The memorandum of agreement took place earlier today at the City Conference Room with the presence of SBRI Director Cristino Panlilio, City Mayor Carlo Rabat, and Vice Mayor Glenda Rabat-Gayta.

The said water system will finally address the problem of water supply in most part of the residential and commercial areas in the city. It’s been the vision of the city government to provide an improved water system in the city as the lives of its citizens improve while tourism and economy are blossoming too.

SBRI is a subsidiary of Balibago Waterworks System Inc., a 58-year-old private water utility with more than 50 water franchises in 16 provinces around the country.

It has been recognized by the National Water Resources Board as one of the largest and most efficiently run private water utilities in the Philippines.

To all Matinians, change is happening. Indeed, water is life.
